Vicki Watts

Vicki has worked full time with dogs since 2018. Prior to this, she was an Animal Technician for 14 years for a local college, taking students for their practical sessions. Vicki attended the same college as a student, working towards her BTEC in Animal Care went back to work full time in 2012.

She has worked with many varied species, from domestic to the exotic, but dogs have always been a passion. Vicki started helping a friend out in puppy classes back in 2015. This was where she was able to train as a Puppy School tutor and in January 2018 she qualified and began running her own puppy classes alongside a dog walking business, which due to Covid had to stop, but this was where her dog training business took off and has been non stop training ever since.

Vicki supports dogs and guardians on a 1:1 basis. Through Puppy School she was able to get by ATI registration through the ABTC. And in May of 2024, she gained her Ace Tutor status. Vicki shares 3 dogs, Tai, a 13-year-old Staffordshire bull terrier, Bella, a 12- year-old pug cross and Chip, a 3-year old Springer Spaniel with her partner& stepdaughter. It was with Tai who needed extra support in his ageing years, which got her interested in Freework.

Vicki supports guardians and dogs in her sensory unit, which allows her to use Freework techniques within her training sessions. She had a passion for helping guardians with reactive dogs.

Vicki covers the area of Yeovil, Somerset, but welcome those from the surrounding area.
